Privacy

Study progress without a citizenship dossier.

CitizenReady is designed to retain only what the learning, support and advertising features need.

Effective 26 August 2026

Who is responsible

The public organization identity and monitored privacy email have not yet been configured. Product and privacy problems can currently be reported through support; advertising remains disabled until its launch requirements are complete.

What CitizenReady stores

If you sign in and complete practice, CitizenReady stores a pseudonymous account key, practice scores, numbered mock-test history, per-question correctness and response time, spaced-review dates, timestamps and optional study settings such as a goal date, primary country, reminder time, language and region. Response time is used to identify study and editorial signals; the selected answer text is not retained. Your email is received during sign-in, transformed into a one-way pseudonymous key and is not stored in the CitizenReady database.

Question and support requests

A signed-in learner may report a question or submit product, accessibility, translation, account or advertising support. CitizenReady stores the request category, related country, message, status, owner response, timestamps and pseudonymous account key. This provides a secure request history without asking for financial details. Do not include case facts, document numbers or other sensitive information.

Post-test advertising

When advertising is enabled, a clearly labelled Google AdSense placement may load after a completed mock test. Google and its advertising partners may process ordinary request and device information—such as IP address, browser, page address, cookie or local-storage identifiers, consent signals, approximate location and ad interactions—under their own policies. Depending on your region and choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.

CitizenReady does not intentionally send your answers, question identifiers, mock-test score or pass result to the advertising provider as targeting data. An ad never changes your score, and viewing, clicking or waiting through an ad is not required to see your result. Ads are configured to remain off until publisher approval, the required privacy or consent controls and an authorized ads.txt entry are confirmed.

Payments

CitizenReady does not currently sell mock-test access, run a checkout or create subscriptions. All 80 mock tests are free. If a paid product is introduced later, this notice and the applicable terms will be updated before payment data is collected.

What CitizenReady deliberately does not store

We do not store citizenship application answers, eligibility-checker responses, interview rehearsal answers, microphone audio, speech transcripts, typed oral-recall notes, passport details, immigration identifiers, complete payment-card details or legal documents.

Information kept only on your device

The location helper can save an optional state and ZIP code in your browser. Your selected interface language, dismissal of the language suggestion and guest scores may also use browser storage; a first-party preference cookie remembers the selected language. Eligibility-screen answers exist only in the active browser tab and are discarded when you leave or reload the page. Advertising providers may use separate browser storage when ads are enabled, subject to the consent choices and controls described above.

Sign-in, videos and service providers

Sign-in is provided by ChatGPT’s site identity system. Hosting and database infrastructure process requests so the site can operate. The official-video page embeds media from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain and the Australian Government's Vbrick platform; loading that page can disclose normal request data such as IP address and browser information to those providers under their policies. Google supplies advertising only after ads are enabled. Providers may process data in countries other than your own under their contractual and legal safeguards. When you follow an official government link, that agency applies its own privacy policy. CitizenReady does not sell personal information.

Your controls and retention

Signed-in users can download or permanently delete saved learning progress, per-question response evidence, question reports and settings from My progress. Support records are retained while a request is active and for a reasonable period after resolution. Aggregate operational logs may be retained by the hosting platform for security and reliability under its policies. Advertising consent controls, where required, let you review or change eligible choices.

Your privacy requests

Use support to request access, correction or deletion of product data that is not already available in My progress. Identity may need to be verified through the signed-in account before a request is fulfilled.

Children and sensitive legal facts

This service is an educational aid, not a filing service. Do not enter sensitive immigration, criminal, tax or family facts into free-text practice areas. A parent or guardian should supervise a minor’s use where required.

Changes

Material changes will be reflected by the effective date on this page. If a new feature needs additional data, the page and in-product explanation will be updated before that feature is enabled.
